1. Who we are

Vidi Official ("Vidi", "we", "us") operates this video-generation service. You can reach us at stephenvu9686@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password.
Personalization information — new accounts answer what they want to create, how they heard about Vidi, and their age range before entering the workspace. You can select “Prefer not to say” for age. We do not ask for your exact age.
Your content — the scripts and settings you submit, and the videos Vidi generates for you.
Payment information — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only limited billing records such as your plan, the amount, card brand, and subscription status.
Usage data — basic logs such as actions, timestamps, and IP address, used to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use your data

To provide and personalize the service, understand aggregate audience demographics, improve Vidi, process your subscription, send account and service emails (verification, password reset, and important notices), and prevent abuse.

4. Service providers

We share data only as needed with providers that help us run Vidi: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), DigitalOcean (hosting and video storage), and AI providers used to generate your videos. These providers process data on our behalf.

5. Cookies

We use an essential cookie to keep you signed in and analytics tags to understand visits, conversion, and product usage. Browser controls and supported consent settings can limit analytics collection.

6. How long we keep it

Generated videos are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after about 30 days. Account data is kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your choices

You can change your password in settings and cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal. To access or delete your data, email stephenvu9686@gmail.com.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords and encrypted payment handling through Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Vidi is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International

Vidi is operated from Australia and uses providers that may process data in other countries.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make changes, we will post them here with a new date.
