Articles are tiny words, but errors with them are among the most frequent in IELTS writing. Many languages have no articles, or use them differently, so candidates often miss them, add them where they do not belong, or choose the wrong one. One error is minor, but when the same mistake repeats across an essay, it reduces the number of error-free sentences, which matters for Grammatical Range and Accuracy.

Mạo từ là những từ rất nhỏ, nhưng lỗi dùng mạo từ lại thuộc nhóm phổ biến nhất trong bài viết IELTS. Nhiều ngôn ngữ không có mạo từ hoặc dùng mạo từ theo cách khác, nên thí sinh thường bỏ sót, thêm vào chỗ không cần, hoặc chọn sai mạo từ.
